Hi, I'm Karen
The maker behind Dear Naura. This all started during the pandemic when a friend and I launched a little zero-waste business. That’s when I fell in love with making soap bars , lotions & mask— there’s something so fun (and kinda nerdy) about mixing creativity with science. I’ve also always been that girl who loved trying out DIY face masks growing up.
From Kitchen Experiments to a Small-Batch Skincare Studio
Eventually, my friend and I each went our own way, but I kept going with my handmade creations.
To deepen my knowledge, I took a skincare formulation course and studied organic chemistry at my local city college — both of which helped me better understand the ingredients I work with and how they interact with the skin.
That’s how Earth Melody was born — just me, experimenting, learning through trial and error, failing a bunch, then getting back up and trying again. It was messy, fulfilling, and all mine.
When I found out I couldn’t trademark Earth Melody, I knew I needed a new name — something that really captured the heart of what I do.
That’s when Dear Naura came to be. “Naura” means hope, light, nourishment, and nature — which felt like the perfect fit.
At the end of the day, I just want to make things that are kind to the planet and help people feel good. Thanks for being here.

Our choice of preservative is ECO-CERT and we ensure every batch is microbial, yeast, fungus, and bacteria-free with a shelf stable life of 1-2 years.

You don’t need another single-use sheet mask that contains more packaging than it does product. We make all our skincare in small-batches to reduce waste and keep our formulas fresh.
We infuse oils slowly for six months or more before blending, because we know care takes time. Most of our products are packaged in glass or low-waste materials while our deodorant is 100% plastic-free!
